Meet Volt

Real learning is what brings him to life.

Volt is the robot companion in your kid's game, and he arrived with his core dark. He runs on one thing: the spark of your kid actually getting something. He never asks them to spend, hurry, or compete.

When the jar fills, Volt carries your kid's starlight to you, and you grant the real thing. Volt is the messenger, not the giver, and spending stars never dims him.

How Mayu works

Four steps. You stay in control the whole way.

1

Your kid plays & learns

A game they actually want to open. They master real skills across age bands, never a red X, never a failure sound.

2

They earn stars

Stars come from real progress. The game knows what each kid is ready for, so they keep moving instead of grinding.

3

You set the rewards

You build the store and the prices. Ice cream = 5★. Movie night = 20★. Amusement park = 200★. The parent decides what counts.

4

You approve, they enjoy

A request lands, you say yes, the screen finally produces something the whole family can feel.

You own the economy

Set your own prices. Right here.

This is the whole idea: you decide what a star is worth. Drag a slider and watch the deal change. In the app, it’s your store.

Not gems that mean nothing. Real rewards, your prices, your house.

Real rewards, family-defined

Stars buy real things, the ones you chose.

Not gems that mean nothing. Not another app’s economy. Your store, your prices, your house.

Why Mayu exists

I built this for my daughters.

Mayu is named after Maya and Yuli. I started building it because I wanted screen time to be something I could feel good about as a parent. Not another YouTube spiral, not another mindless game, not another app that feels like school. So I made the screen earn its place: my girls master real skills, and the stars they earn buy rewards we actually choose. Built for them, and for every family that wants screen time to mean something.

For educators & content creators

Mayu starts with the parent-at-home. Down the road, we’ll open the door to educators and creators who want to build real learning into the same system. Schools someday, the family always at the core.

Questions, answered

The things parents ask first.

What is Mayu?

Mayu is a learning game for kids ages 6 to 13. Kids master real skills like math, earn stars for real progress, and spend those stars on real rewards their parents choose. There is never a red X or a failure sound.

How is Mayu different from Khan Academy Kids or Prodigy?

Most learning apps own the reward economy with virtual points or gear. With Mayu, the parent owns it: you build the reward store and set the prices, so stars buy real things you chose, from ice cream to a movie night.

Is Mayu free?

Mayu is free to start, with no credit card needed. You build your family’s reward store in minutes.

What ages is Mayu for?

Mayu is designed for kids ages 6 to 13. Content adapts to each kid’s age band and grows with them, so it feels right whether they are 7 or 13.

Does Mayu show ads or sell my data?

No ads, now or ever, and we never sell your data. There are no purchases aimed at your kid: you set and fund every reward.

Which devices does Mayu support?

Mayu runs on Android phones and tablets, with an iPhone version on the way. Tap Get the app and we’ll get your family set up.
